Great post, Jennie! I was wondering if you were getting a divorce ... congratulations on finding you, again and again!!!! I always love reading your posts, and cooking your recipes! Hoping our paths cross in person this year - has been too long!
I started following you in 2011 and I respected and appreciated how you turned to creating beautiful food during what was the rawest, most painful and unmooring time in your life. It was life affirming and I understood, and saw, you.
Keep going. We need people like you Jennie, today more than ever.
You have been one of my favorites since I discovered you! In my floundering days learning about the kitchen and what it meant in the life of our family of 5, your words and recipes were instantly a favorite. It taught me that preparing and cooking wasn’t just ingesting food, but also enjoying the process and integrating it into our lives as a joy instead of a job.
Now my small babies are 20, 17, and 15. But whenever I need grounding, you still provide inspiration. Thanks!
Congratulations on 20 years! I haven't been following your work quite that long but I'm pretty sure I discovered you in around 2009! Love your work, love your words 🩷

Our babies are similar in age. The girls are about to turn 22 & 17. Where did the years go?!
