I have to say it DOES NOT get easier as time goes on! Crazy, because I thought it would. Tom has been gone for 18 years, August 10th, this upcoming Wed. I suppose we make different memories, but truthfully, I miss the old too. And when life throws me a curve ball and takes away another loved one of mine, it will make me miss those memories of old as well. It seems like I just keep missing more and more people, as they jet off to another plane. I try to be strong and not let the sadness come up too often.
