My daughter and I just got into “Is it Cake?” recently as well! Many jokes are somewhat cringy in the delivery but I agree it’s lighthearted and very watchable, and with less manufactured angst than many competition shows.
I’m glad you’ve reached a milestone in subscriptions to make this more sustainable! I don’t know if I’m affected in any way in the adjustments (I think I subscribed on a discounted rate), but I’ll say from experience from another substack subscription I have is that if a reader signed up at a higher level, a lot of times we would feel strongly enough to keep supporting at the higher level, but lowering the amount does allow for supporters to maybe support another creator with the same money. Which is to say, I have made a commitment to support you, and will continue to do so despite whatever adjustments may need to be made for the future. I hope your other subscribers feel the same ❤️
