Monday, again! But the sun is shining here, plus I managed to get in 7,500 steps as well as some weight work and meditation all before 8:00am, so there are upsides to it being a fresh new week. I’m taking a break from Field Notes this week to share something very exciting for the holiday week many of us are preparing for with Passover starting Friday night and Easter Sunday two days later.
I’ve spent the last few weeks compiling my favorite Passover and Easter recipes from the last decade into a new digital cookbook. These 16 recipes are all very near and dear to me, some stretching back to when Michael was alive. One of the last Easter memories I have is him with two year old Virginia kneading my Italian Easter Bread in our old kitchen in Brooklyn. I’ll dig that photo up and share it on Instagram this week.
Oh, how I miss those holiday mornings, waking early to get in line before the Italian pastry shop line snaked down the block. I hope you enjoy this collection of recipes as much as I did creating them over the years. There’s a link to download the ebook below. Downloads are free for all paid subscribers.
I hope the week is filled with pockets of peace for us all. Remember to be kind. –xo,j.
