Quick & Easy Homemade Waffles

I can’t help but think of Mikey when I think of waffles. They were his absolute favorite. Back when he was alive and the kids were little, I’d have to alternate our Sunday brunches between waffles and pancakes. Isabella was firmly on Team Pancake when she was younger but now gives both waffles and pancakes equal opportunity.
Matthew is a lover of waffles, too, which is a wonderful way of weaving my past and present. This waffle recipe is from the early days of my old blog, and has retained a spot in the top 10 recipes most visited at In Jennie’s Kitchen. I hope it brings as much joy to your breakfast table as it has to mine for the last 12 years.
