✨Let's Make Pie Together!✨
registration is now open for my first-ever pie making class
A quick Tuesday pop-in to share news of my first, hands-on pie making class, just in time to get you ready for Thanksgiving. Well, as hands-on as Zoom allows us! Instagram is great for sharing tips and tricks, but I’ve been wanting to cook with all of you for so long, and the upcoming holiday felt like perfect timing to help demystify pie crust.
The class will be this Sunday, November 20th at 10:00am EST, and is limited to 12 people max. As I do more of these, I may expand class sizes but for now I’d like to keep them small so I can answer your questions and we don’t feel rushed. Future classes will be held at a more west coast-friendly time zone. I just have a family commitment this weekend that necessitates the early start time for this first class.
A few FAQs about classes are below. If you have any additional questions, post them in the comments. Paid subscribers–don’t miss the special discount code at the end to save 20% on the $25 class registration fee. Discounts on all classes will be a new benefit for all paid subscribers, so one more reason to join.
Do I Need to Have Cooking Experience? All level cooks are welcome!
Do I Have to Cook Along? You do you! Just watch if you’d like to take it all in, or cook with me live during the class. If you do decide to cook along, you might find it helpful to measure out your ingredients before class starts.
Do I Have to Keep My Camera On? What matters most is that you feel comfortable during class, so while I’d love to see everyone’s faces, you do what feels right for you.
How Should I Prepare for Class? Please give the recipes a read through before class starts, so you'll be familiar with what we’re cooking. Questions are welcome, and there will be time for them at the end of class.
What You Need: Recipes will be provided 72 hours before class; a list of equipment needs is included with each recipe.
Can I Ask Questions During Class?: Use the chat to post questions, and I’ll keep an eye, so we can also be interactive during class–the goal is to learn together and have fun!
What If I Arrive Late or Can’t Stay for the Whole Class? No worries. All classes are recorded, so you can watch it at your convenience.
