I pulled together links for some favorite pumpkin recipes since it’s that time of year. Crazy to think October’s days are numbered, and November is nipping at our heels. Time feels both static and passing too quickly lately.
This chex mix recipe has zero pumpkin in it but is seasoned with that ubiquitous flavor none of us can escape once autumn arrives— pumpkin spice. It’s infiltrated everything and you might be over it by now. I do think there’s a time and place for this blend of warm spices, and this recipe is one of them.
It’s a great treat to mix up for parties, or just have on hand for healthier snacking (plus it’s naturally gluten-free). Feel free to mix up the seeds and nuts to your own liking. Dried cherries can be swapped in for the cranberries, or you can use a combination of both.
Have fun if you’re enjoying pre-Halloween festivities this weekend. Hope the day itself is filled with lots of treats and not too many tricks. —xo, j.
